Join us from Noon till 6:00 PM at the 1861 Wine Lounge on April 8th for an afternoon of special drinks and snacks as we witness the Total Eclipse!
Self-Guided Tours of the Schumacher Homestead
Looking for something to do on the weekend before the Eclipse Saturday April 6th or Sunday April 7th? Step back in time at the Schumacher Homestead at 8350 Bixel Road, Pandora, Ohio. We will be open for self-guided tours of the 1843 restored Swiss homestead including house, workshop, and barn. Activities for children will include games and toys, candle making, and corn husk dolls. Open fire popcorn and lemonade will be served. Hours are 1-4 both days. Docents will be available for questions. No entrance fee, but donations to support the Society will be gladly accepted.

Bluffton University grounds and roads will be closed to the public on April 8, 2024. Classes are cancelled April 8, 2024.

Ten Thousand Villages will have extended hours on Eclipse Weekend April 6th through April 8th.
Bluffton Public Library – Closed April 8, 2024
The Bluffton Public Library will be closed on April 8, the day of the eclipse.
Senior Citizens Center – Closed April 8, 2024
The Bluffton Senior Center will be closed on April 8, the day of the eclipse because we expect traffic will be bad and we don’t want to add to the traffic problem by having programs that day.
